Open to artists across the United States and around the globe, the Flowing Art Prize & Fair invites diverse voices to participate.
What is the Flowing Art Prize?
An international award and curated fair dedicated to artists and designers working at the intersection of art, design, and function.
We promote creative practices that enhance daily life through our annual program, which offers selected artists a combination of cash prizes, exhibition opportunities, artist residencies, e-commerce support, commercial promotion, B2B connections, and artist consulting.
The prize launches from our gallery space in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, where Flowing Space curates exhibitions and programs that bring together art, design, and living.

Design works that don’t fall into the above — blend design, utility, and material experimentation
Functional Vessels
Cups, bowls, teapots, containers, and other usable vessels designed for daily life.
Fiber & Textile Art
Woven, stitched, or fiber-based works including wall hangings and soft objects.
Wall-based Works
Artworks designed to be displayed on walls, including decorative paintings, sculptural reliefs, wall-mounted objects, and other works that elevate spatial atmosphere.
Art Furniture
Tables, chairs, shelves, and structural pieces where form meets function.
Jewelry & Wearable Art
sculptural objects, ceramic artworks, clay forms with visual or conceptual focus.
A total cash prize of $2,000 - 3,000 USD will be awarded to selected artists. The prize breakdown is as follows:
